New Coalition for Human Rights Fromed in London

At the Church of Scientology London there has been the formation of the Coalition for Human Rights and Peace. It's purpose is to see that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is made known and used at all levels of society through coordination of the human rights activities of like-minded groups.

At it's formation they showed the Public Service Annoucements of the Youth For Human Rights, each one featuring one of the articles of Universal Declaration of Human Rights. If you want to get your own check the Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) here.

Christmas for a Cause

The Scientology Celebrity Centre International celebrities Christmas Benefit was last week with a number of celebrities attending for the benefit including: Kirstie Alley, Kelly Preston, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi, Danny Masterson, Erika Christensen, Christopher Masterson, Marisol Nichols, Catherine Bell and Jennifer Aspen.

The performances were done with sponsorship from Hollywood Policy Activities League (PAL). This annual event has raised over $190,000 for community programs since it began in 1993. Next Christmas time see if you can't make it done to Hollywood and check in at the Scientology Celebrity Centre for this event.

Philippines reflief effort: update

Do keep up with the news in the Philippines and spread the word. There is a lot of help needed out there on a right now basis, there are a lot of people who know need help and the technical know-how needed to bring order is in the hands of Volunteer Ministers. A typhoon has hit the Phillipines and left at the latest count 1000 dead with villages covered in volcanic mudslides and boulders. For more info on the disaster see here.

Volunteer Ministers out in India

When the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour arrived in Kolkata, earlier this year, one of the first people they met was Mohammad Khalil Ullah, a humanitarian who has been working to improve the lives of his people.

Pretty cool work happening out in India.
